A Monitoring Expert

The plugin serves as an interface for users to interact with a network monitoring API, which provides 24/7 alerts on the status of specified hosts. Users can add or edit hosts to be monitored, configure alert settings, and reset alerts as needed. The plugin facilitates API calls for host management, requiring the user to provide a host address, endpoint type, and email address for alerts. Editing or deleting a host requires an EditAuthKey, which is provided when a host is added. Deletion is permanent, with an option to disable monitoring instead. The backend organizes data into time-range datasets, each containing MonitorPingInfo for response times and status of each monitored host. Detailed response data is available through PingInfos, while summary information is accessible via MonitorPingInfo and its status. Email alerts for host downtimes are sent to verified email addresses, and users are advised to ensure email validity to maintain their host data.
